TROY KINNE - AUSTRALIAN COMEDIAN
Troy is often recognised from his performance on 'The Search for Australia's
Funniest Man' DVD featured with FHM magazine in Jan 2006. Troy has since won
almost every young comic competition in the country, among which was the ‘You
Gotta Be Joking' competition at the Comic’s Lounge in Melbourne. This win saw Troy
receive the prize of a trip to New York to attend the American Institute of Comedy.
In only six weeks Troy managed to impress enough of the right people to earn him
comedy spots at world famous comedy clubs Caroline's on Broadway, Stand Up New
York and Gotham Comedy club.
Since returning from New York, Troy has appeared on;
- The Comedy Channel - Stand Up Australia, Comedy Gold
- Channel 31 - Comic’s Lounge Live, The Comic Box,

country, Troy has been requested for many charity, corporate and Christmas
functions, performed for workers at over 50 of Western Australia’s Mining Camps,
and spent two weeks entertaining the Troops of Australia's Armed Defence Forces in
East Timor. Troy has been the opening act for performers such as Dave Hughes,
Peter Helliar and Dave Oneil to name but a few, and has performed at Sportsman’s
nights alongside guest celebrity speakers such as Merv Hughes, Billy Brownless,
Brian Taylor, Brendan Fevolar, Andrew Gaze, John Barnes and Chopper Read.
Troy is also a member of production company 100 Easy Street who among other
silly things, produce the comedy team Ear Candy made up of Troy, Tom Siegert,
